Description
▼If a video looks real and a voice sounds famili...
If a video looks real and a voice sounds familiar, how much should we trust it? What happens when “I saw it with my own eyes” is no longer convincing evidence? Join us for an interactive discussion about deepfakes, AI-generated media and the changing relationship between seeing and believing. Through real data and case studies, we’ll explore how convincing fabrications can shape reputations, influence opinions and exploit our trust... and why understanding them is becoming an essential skill as the technology improves.
Together, we’ll examine examples from the internet and put our judgment to the test: real, manipulated or entirely generated? We’ll compare guesses, question what made us confident, and discuss why visual clues alone may not be enough. How can we check a source, look for supporting evidence and stay curious without becoming suspicious of everything? No technical knowledge is necessary. Expect surprising reveals, lively disagreements and useful lessons in digital literacy. This is a chance to sharpen your judgment and better understand a world where convincing images don’t always tell the truth.
