What does modern masculinity actually mean today? And who gets to define it? Has masculinity truly evolved, or have expectations simply become more complicated and contradictory? In this discussion, we’ll explore how ideas of masculinity have shifted over time, how they differ across cultures and countries, and whether the modern version is realistic, achievable, or even fair to men.

Together, we’ll look honestly at the pressures men face from society, media, and relationships, including the expectations placed on them by women and by other men. We’ll discuss what gets lost—and what gets gained—when moving away from traditional masculinity, the challenges men encounter while trying to follow new norms, and how identity, vulnerability, strength, and responsibility can coexist. This will be an inclusive, thoughtful conversation that welcomes diverse perspectives, encourages respectful dialogue, and creates space to question assumptions rather than judge them.

你们会比较坦诚地聊聊男性承受的压力：来自社会、媒体、亲密关系；也包括来自女性的期待、以及来自其他男性的评价。我们会讨论从“传统男性气质”往外走的时候，哪些东西被丢掉了、哪些东西也许反而被获得了；男性在尝试跟上新规则时会遇到什么具体难点；以及身份认同、脆弱、力量、责任这些看起来会打架的东西，能不能放在同一个框架里共存。这会是一场包容、认真、但不说教的对话，欢迎不同视角，鼓励尊重交流，更重要的是一起质疑和梳理假设，而不是互相评判。
