What makes a great bowl of chili: smoky spices, slow-cooked richness or a secret ingredient worth arguing about? Join Nico, Popcorn Club’s foodie host, for a delicious Walk & Talk at the Shanghai Chili Cook-Off, a longstanding celebration of international food and community. Chili is a hearty stew typically made with meat, chili peppers and spices, often with tomatoes and beans—and everyone seems to have an opinion about the perfect recipe. With booths serving different versions and people gathering from all over the world, we’ll explore, taste and discover how much personality can fit into one bowl.

We’ll meet at the gates and head inside together, with Nico leading us through the festival as we compare flavours, share favourites and talk food and culture in English. Come alone or with friends; no food expertise or chili knowledge is necessary—just bring your curiosity and an appetite. Your entry ticket is included in this Popcorn Social Experience. Our guided outing finishes at 15:00, but you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the cook-off for the rest of the day. Expect good company, lively conversation and plenty of delicious discoveries.

我们会在门口集合，一起进去，Nico 会带着我们逛这个节，比较不同口味、分享各自最喜欢的，还会用英语聊美食和文化。一个人来或者跟朋友一起来都行；不需要任何美食专业知识，也不用懂 chili——带上你的好奇心和胃口就行。这场 Popcorn 社交体验含门票。我们的导览活动 15:00 结束，但你可以留下来，继续享受这一整天的烹饪大赛。会有好相处的人、热闹的聊天，还有很多好吃的发现。
