This will be a fun, highly interactive, and enlightening workshop! How would you act when miscommunications at work inevitably happen? If you can then take apart how you acted, what would you say about it? Would you adjust anything? If so, what and why? Welcome to the Case Study Roleplay Workshop! Today, we'll be focusing on workplace miscommunications._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ Miscommunications at work happen all the time. The good communicator will find ways to resolve them, so how do you do that? Especially when those miscommunications happen because of language and culture issues. Of course, Kate is fully prepared with case studies for us to roleplay in this club but please feel free to bring your own, we'd love to hear about them and even roleplay them!_x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ In this workshop, Kate will prepare four different case studies. You and your fellow participants will be split into two teams. For each of the four scenarios, you'll roleplay them one by one. After each roleplay, we'll talk about what happened, how everybody acted and why they did so. We'll discuss similar situations that may have happened to us in real life. We won't judge, we'll talk openly, and we'll strive to better prepare ourselves for future workplace miscommunications by taking the time to understand ourselves and those around us._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ With each roleplay, we'll become comfortable, more honest, and more liberated.
