In this club, you will make your hero (or villain) from scratch, complete race, abilities. weaknesses, alignment and back story. You can then play this character in a whole world of games and fellow players!

Who would you become in a world where you could speak to dragons, cast spells or sneak past a sleeping monster, yet still have a weakness that gets you into trouble? Join Marc, celebrity Shanghai game master and seasoned Dungeons & Dragons professional, for a hands-on session where you’ll learn to build your own role-playing character. Go beyond choosing a name: explore ancestries such as humans, elves, dwarves and mixed heritage, choose abilities from healing magic to swordsmanship, and give your character flaws, ambitions and a backstory. A brilliant wizard with terrible social skills? A charming rogue hiding a guilty secret? Will you be good, evil, or something in between? These choices give you someone to inhabit... and give the adventure something to work with.

Together, we’ll turn ideas into a playable character you can bring to future RPG games and campaigns. Your character can stay with you across adventures, gaining experience, developing abilities, forming friendships, making enemies and collecting stories shaped by your decisions. They might adopt a strange pet, develop an unexpected loyalty, become a hero, or meet an untimely death. No gaming experience or acting talent is necessary: Marc will guide you through the process. Expect storytelling, world-building and plenty of laughter as you create someone uniquely yours, and open the door to shared adventures, collaboration and connection with a whole world of fellow players.

我们会一起把想法变成一个能玩的角色，你可以带到以后的 RPG 游戏和战役里。你的角色可以跟着你走过一场场冒险，长经验、练能力、交朋友、结仇人，还会收集由你的决定塑造出来的故事。他们可能会养一只奇怪的宠物，发展出一段意想不到的忠诚，成为英雄，或者早早领盒饭。不需要任何游戏经验或表演天赋：Marc 会带着你走完整个过程。会有讲故事、搭世界，还有很多笑声，你会在过程中造出一个只属于你的角色，也打开一扇门，走向共同冒险、协作，还有跟一整个世界玩家之间的连接。
