This club involves cool conversation and a super fun bridge-building game!
What makes a bridge truly strong? And what makes it beautiful? Is it just engineering… Or is there something deeper in the way structure, balance, and design come together? And when you look at a bridge, are you seeing pure function, or a piece of art? In this discussion and hands-on workshop hosted by David, an award-winning architect, we’ll explore the thinking behind great structures: how they stand, why they last, and what separates the ordinary from the iconic.
Then we’ll put those ideas to the test. You’ll work in teams to design and build your own bridges using different materials; experimenting, problem-solving, and competing to see whose structure can hold the most weight. What choices actually make a difference? Where does it fail? And why? Expect a session that’s smart, creative, and seriously fun… where theory meets practice, and you walk away seeing the built world with completely new eyes.
