What is Inktober?
A global, yearly drawing challenge every October. No art skill necessary.
Create one drawing each day based on a prompt, interpreted by you. We share our drawings in a group chat. We support and motivate each other.
Founded by artist Jake Parker in 2009. A daily creative habit for one month to sharpen our minds, imaginations and motor skills.
Don’t worry—this isn’t a competition, and you don’t need to have drawing skills. The meaning of Inktober isn’t about who draws better, but about experiencing the power of persistence. When you practice a skill for 31 days straight—even just 5 minutes a day—you’ll definitely see a difference by the end of the month.
