Julien, a French Chef and Master Baker, runs Si Pattiserie doing baking, and consulting, and his passion; giving baking workshops to aspiring young bakers! He's worked in top bakeries, restaurants, hotels and bakery R&D offices in France, Switzerland, Greece, Australia, Morocco, Malaysia, Japan and China. He's a baking teacher, product developer and a brand ambassador for Cémoi Chocolate and Ambasadeur Du Pain. A celebrity in the industry, he was a semi-finalist for MOF in 2022 and a contestant on CCTV 2's "The Greatest Chef" in 2021, 22 and 23. He's been interviewed by French radio, has done many love cooking demos in France and China, organised Food Festivals, and media events, and has even been the official baker for the CEF meeting from 2013 to 2015. Focaccia, a flat oven-baked Italian bread, is a delicious staple every European-style baker should know. It can be eaten as bread or a base for one of the most traditional of pizzas. The pretzel, arguably the most famous bread in the East of Europe, has a long history that's often argued over. Most say it comes from Germany but Chef Julien will adamantly tell you it comes from France. At least we can all agree that it's awesome, stylish, and something every self-respecting European-style baker needs to master._x000D_

Baking is both an art form and a science. Julien has worked in the highest levels of the baking industry and yet he still maintains his child-like love for food and people. In this workshop limited to six people, you'll go through every step of the baking from scratch process as you learn about each ingredient and why and how they're used. You'll be the baker.
