At the workplace and in business where's the line between being nice and polite versus being professional? Are they the same thing? Is it always smart to be nice and polite at work? How might that answer change for different people? In different industries? In different cultures? At different levels? In different business/work relationships? What about for different ages? Or different genders?_x000D_

In this club, we'll have an important discussion as we look at real data and share our experiences about the benefits and/or harms that come with being "nice and polite". Does being nice make you weak and allow people to walk all over you? Or does it make you more trustable and more likely to lead? At which point, if any, should you stop being "nice"? Moreover, does this also apply on other levels? How about in the world of politics and diplomacy? How big of a role does culture play in all of this? And do the same rules apply on personal and interpersonal levels?_x000D_
