It was originally made with whisky but you'll be making it with Mezcal which is convenient because you'll be at one of the best Mezcal bars in town! Its origins are often argued over, some say it was invented in Paris, others say London, and most agree it was invented just after WWI (and named for the attachment to the motorcycle often used in those times). It's one of the more difficult drinks for bartenders to make because the proportion of ingredients is harder to balance.
