Hey, when you’re in an argument, do you play to win? Are you expressing all the thoughts you want, in as clear a language as you can? And are you getting the result you want? Or do you sometimes get tongue twisted and lose what you want to say in the heat of the moment? Well, we’re going to “duke it out”, not with our actual fists, but with our English! Practice saying all the things you want to say in situations that upset you. Then find out, through the use of Non-Violent Communication (NVC), that all those negative feelings we feel are actually tragic expressions of unmet needs.
