In this specialty club, it’s time to paint street art style! The art of graffiti, from the streets of New York to London to Milan, is not amateur art. It's a culture with a history that’s given birth to and influenced some of the best artists of our time, like the great Banksy. In this workshop, you will learn, and you will create! _x000D_ _x000D_ This workshop will focus on the street artist’s most essential skill: lettering & writing. Every artist has their own unique signature called a tag. Sometimes it's used as a way to sign a piece but more often, the tag is the piece itself. It's the way an artist identifies themself and is often done in a secret way that only other artists and graffiti enthusiasts will understand. It's all part of the language of the streets in this amazing underground culture. Each artist has their own particular style of writing. What’s yours? Let’s find out as you create your own graffiti tag under the guidance of two amazing artists!_x000D_ _x000D_ Jim and Kyle, two incredibly gifted graffiti artists from Sydney, Australia, and London, England, respectively, with a combined street-art experience of over 40 years, will take you through the history, culture, and technique of this beautiful and undeniably cool art form._x000D_ _x000D_ Then, we’ll all go to a special painting wall where you’ll get your paint cans and education on how to paint. You’ll learn to do bold lettering, fades, 3D, shine effects, and other tricks of the trade.
