You don't need to know anything about Sigmund Freud or Carl Jung for this club. Lily, a psychotherapist, will guide us as we look at their views on the topic of dreams and have a deep, smart and fun discussion!
What do our dreams really mean? Are they secret messages from our unconscious desires, or symbolic stories trying to guide us toward a deeper version of ourselves? In this discussion club, we’ll explore one of psychology’s most fascinating debates: Freud vs Jung on the meaning of dreams. From strange recurring dreams to vivid emotional scenes we can’t forget, we’ll look at how two of the most influential thinkers in modern psychology interpreted the hidden logic of our night-time minds, and what their ideas might reveal about our relationships, fears, ambitions, and inner conflicts.
Hosted by Lily, a practising psychotherapist, this session is designed for curious minds, not psychology experts. Through real examples, simple explanations, and open conversation, we’ll unpack dream symbols, unconscious patterns, and the surprising ways dreams connect to our everyday lives. Whether you remember your dreams clearly or rarely dream at all, this is an invitation to see them not as random images, but as clues—about who you are, what you want, and what your mind might be trying to tell you.
