Can you think too much? We tend to treat deep thinking as a strength... but there’s a point where reflection stops producing insight and starts going in circles. We replay conversations, imagine every possible outcome, search for one more piece of information or try to make the “perfect” decision, all while convincing ourselves that more thinking will eventually bring clarity. So how can you tell the difference between meaningful reflection and overthinking? When is your mind genuinely solving a problem? And when is thinking itself becoming a way of avoiding uncertainty, discomfort or action?
Join Ben for an introspective and practical workshop exploring the double-edged sword of thought. You’ll examine your own mental patterns, explore why intelligent analysis can sometimes turn into rumination, perfectionism, procrastination or decision paralysis, and consider the surprisingly philosophical question of when you’ve thought enough. Through discussion, self-reflection and practical techniques, you’ll experiment with ways to step out of unproductive mental loops without abandoning the curiosity and depth that make thoughtful people thoughtful. The goal isn’t to think less; it’s to become better at knowing when to keep thinking, when to trust yourself, and when to move.
