Are you familiar with silk screen printing? It's a stencilling method that involves printing ink through screens onto fabrics. It's ideally suited for bold and graphic designs. It makes the type of prints that jump out of the fabric and it is very much an art form! In this club, you're going to learn it, you're going to do it, and you're going to make prints taken from amazing art made by amateurs and professionals in this previous Inktober (a global art challenge where people all over the world make one drawing per day, everyday, in October)._x000D_ _x000D_ The theme of this silk screen printing workshop is Inktober. Why? Because it's fun and it's an inspiring creative challenge for everyone, and because maybe you even participated in it (if you didn't, it's totally fine!)_x000D_ _x000D_ The pieces of art you'll practise screenprinting with have been chosen by Nico with love and care. You'll get to those prints and make your very own t-shirts and tote bags. And, of course, you'll take your creations home and have a truly unique piece of fashion created by you!_x000D_ _x000D_ Nico runs nico_printshop, he's an expert in the field, and he'll be your guide in his studio where he makes all of his prints for his various clients. You'll learn every step of the process from choosing the print to preparing the equipment to designing, printing, finishing and everything in between. It's not easy to do and you won't become an expert in just two hours but you will get to design your own shirts, use the fancy gear, learn from a professional, and walk out with your own unique creations.
