What is racism? Where and when does it start? Do we all have some? How does it effect us and those around us?_x000D_ _x000D_ In the 1940s, two married scientists in civil rights America were trying to understand the attitudes of race in the minds of children. They did this through what was called "The Doll Test". They placed a black doll and a white doll on a table in front of children and asked them pointed questions like “Which one is pretty? Which one is ugly? Which one is good? Which one is bad?” _x000D_ _x000D_ Strong concepts of race and identity are formed within a child well before the age of 7. _x000D_ _x000D_ It’s not just isolated to black or white. It’s all of us.
