Or simply waking up most mornings genuinely happy with the life you’ve built? Join Ivan, a theatre director joining us live from London, for a thoughtful discussion about one of the biggest ideas quietly shaping our lives. We’ll explore our own definitions of success and compare how they can change between people, generations and cultures. What looks like an extraordinary life to one person might look like failure to another — and many of the things we spend years chasing may come from someone else’s definition of a life well lived.

Together, we’ll dig deeper into where these definitions actually come from. How much is chosen by us, and how much comes from our families, friends, education, social media or the society we grew up in? Can someone be successful without much money? Can you have an incredible career and still feel that you’ve failed? And what happens when you finally achieve the thing you thought would make you happy — and discover that it doesn’t? Through stories, questions and plenty of conversation, Ivan will invite us to examine the invisible scorecards we use to judge ourselves and other people. Because perhaps the most important question isn’t “Am I successful?” but “Who taught me what success was supposed to look like?”
