Nico, from France, is known across industries in Shanghai as the guy who runs nico_printshop where he's been doing screen printing for 10+ years. He's the go-to for many expat-run companies for printing their merchandise. With a degree in biotech engineering and marketing, he's also a graphic/web designer, entrepreneur (won best new store of the year 2014 by Timeout Shanghai for Upcyle Design Store), and was part of the Chiaccelerator program with 'The Squirrelz. He's fluent in English and French and his Mandarin isn't bad either. An endless student of life and proud manga fan, Nico loves One Piece, football, (PSG forever!) and baking, especially sourdough!
What does an ordinary week look like in France?...
What does an ordinary week look like in France? How do French people spend their time—at work, at school, or relaxing on the weekend—and how does that compare to daily life in Shanghai? In this culturally rich discussion hosted by Nico, a French artist and entrepreneur now living in Shanghai, we’ll explore the rhythms of French life, from the structured weekday routine to the cherished rituals that give each day its unique flavor. You’ll get a window into a typical French adult’s workday, a schoolchild’s schedule, and the joyfully slower pace of weekends._x000D_

But beyond just schedules, we’ll dive into the small cultural touches that make French life feel distinct: the pause café that brings coworkers together, the light and simple petit déjeuner (think croissant and café crème), the sacred ritual of l’apéro before dinner, and the weekend promenade through town or countryside. This is more than just comparing habits, it's about understanding the values, priorities, and pace that shape people’s lives. Join us to reflect, share, and discover how everyday life reveals the deeper heart of a culture._x000D_
