公开演讲：有意犯错</a>\nThis club will involve lots of public sp
eaking practice and feedback and more practice. Kate\, an award-winning sp
eaker and speaking coach will be your patient guide!_x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D
_ Do you know what one of the biggest issues is with Chinese public speake
rs in English? For some reason\, this group of people has a serious fear o
f making mistakes. This fear stops you from being confident. An unconfiden
t speaker\, regardless of their preparation\, vocabulary and speaking abil
ity can never win over a crowd. So in this club\, you're going to make pub
lic speaking mistakes... on purpose!_x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ It sounds craz
y\, right? How can you make a mistake on purpose? Doesn't a mistake\, by d
efinition\, need to be unintentional? Yes\, but that doesn't matter. Let's
talk about what mistakes you regularly make\, are afraid to make\, and ha
ve seen others make. Then you will do a short speech and make those mistak
es. And then you'll practise recovering from them._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_
Here's the thing\, mistakes happen to everybody. You will continue to make
them. In this club\, you'll start becoming comfortable with them. You'll
take a few huge steps towards not being afraid of them. With a small\, sup
portive group of people\, we will conquer our fears and master the art of
 recovery. Let's have a transformational public speaking workshop!_x000D_ _
