DESCRIPTION:<a href="http://popcornclubshanghai.com/event/clearing-committe
 e-listen-without-judgment-or-advice-44751/register">Clearing Committee: Li
sten Without Judgment or Advice </a>\nWhen was the last time you felt trul
y heard? Without interruption\, judgment\, or advice? In a world driven by
speed\, opinion\, and artificial intelligence\, how can we slow down and
create deeper\, more thoughtful spaces for reflection and clarity? In this
therapeutic and inclusive workshop\, El\, a social worker\, will introduc
e us to a powerful practice called the Clearing Committee\, a structured r
itual of deep listening and non-rhetorical questioning\, originally develo
ped by a community known as the Quakers. Don’t worry if you’ve never h
eard of them\; what matters here is the method\, and how transformational
it can be. During the process\, one person brings a personal or profession
al issue to the group\, and the rest of the “committee” supports them\
, not by offering solutions or opinions\, but by asking honest\, open-ende
d questions. This unique approach helps the speaker uncover their own insi
ghts and pathways forward. Whether you're facing a challenge\, seeking cla
rity\, or simply curious about a new way to connect and grow\, this worksh
op offers a deeply human and refreshing approach to problem-solving and em
 otional insight.
