ry & Politics</a>\nWhat makes a leader great: their vision\, their charact
er\, their achievements—or what they leave behind? Can someone be admire
d for transforming a country and criticised for how they did it? Join Adam
 \, a politics and history expert\, for a discussion exploring a selection
of world leaders across history. We’ll examine the choices they made\, t
he circumstances they faced and the reasons people remember them different
ly. Is greatness about doing what is right\, delivering results\, inspirin
g others? Or knowing when to step aside? Together\, we’ll compare figure
s and perspectives\, question the standards we use to judge leadership\, a
nd consider whose lives improved—and whose voices might be missing from
the story. All opinions are welcome\, and you’re encouraged to bring you
r own examples of great leaders and explain what makes them worthy of that
description. No prior knowledge of politics or history is necessary: Adam
will provide the background\, and our questions will drive the conversati
on. Then\, on October 24th\, he’ll explore the other side in a second cl
ub: what makes a terrible leader? Come ready to discover history\, challen
ge your assumptions and think more deeply about the people we choose to ad
 mire.
