 os\, Comedy & the Psychology of a Trouble-Maker</a>\nWhy do we sometimes l
ove a character who will actively try to ruin our lives? Meet Beetlejuice:
a wildly mischievous supernatural troublemaker whose outrageous behaviour
\, striped suit and dark humour have made him a lasting pop culture icon a
cross films\, animation and musical theatre. Join Anastasiia\, a professio
nal animator whose favourite character is Beetlejuice\, for a playful expl
oration of this charming menace. We’ll discover how different versions t
urn him from a disturbing schemer into a comic companion—and ask what ch
anges when the same character is created for different audiences. Together
\, we’ll explore his design\, personality and psychology\, discussing wh
y chaos can be entertaining\, why rule-breakers fascinate us\, and how hum
our makes something grotesque strangely lovable. What makes a character ch
arming despite their behaviour? How do animation\, live performance and fi
lm shape our sympathy—and what does our enjoyment reveal about us? You d
on’t need to know Beetlejuice or have seen any of his adventures: Anasta
siia will introduce his world and share the enthusiasm that makes him her
favourite. Expect strange discoveries\, lively conversation and plenty of
fun as we look beneath the stripes. 为什么我们有时候会喜欢一

 的设计、性格和心理，聊聊为什么混乱可以很好玩，为
 什么破坏规则的人让我们着迷，还有幽默是怎么让一个
