 the parts of ourselves we’d rather keep hidden? Join Anji\, a Cannes-nom
 inated director\, for a Watch & Talk of Ingmar Bergman’s Persona (1966)\
 , a landmark of psychological cinema. An actress falls silent. A nurse is 
 sent to care for her. As one speaks and the other listens\, the line betwe
 en them grows harder to see. Through selected scenes\, we’ll explore the
  archetypes within us: the Mask we show the world\, the Shadow we’d rath
 er hide and the Double who makes us wonder where one person ends and anoth
 er begins. Drawing on Carl Jung’s idea of the collective unconscious\, t
 he possibility that we share deep patterns of imagination\, we’ll compar
 e what we see in Bergman’s images and what they bring up for each of us.
  When does a role protect us\, and when does it start to define us? Why ca
 n it be easier to recognise something in another person than to admit it
 ’s part of ourselves? No knowledge of Jung or Bergman is needed\, and yo
 u don’t have to have seen the film. Anji will guide us through the scene
 s and leave room for different readings. Sometimes the most surprising jou
 rney a film can take us on is the one that leads us deeper into ourselves.
  Let's sit back with good friends in comfy chairs and watch scenes from a 
 film admired and passionatley discussed by film students\, professors and 
 critics to this day. And\, of course\, let's have a deep conversation abou
