If you've never heard any Greek myths before, that's ok, because in this club, Davie will tell you some amazing stories in dramatic fashion and we'll discuss them together. The Greek myths are awesome, weird, chillingly human, often controversial, and the basis for most Western literature, film and TV. Why are the Greek gods so insane in the way they deal with relationships? Why do they constantly cheat on each other? Manipulate each other? Fight with each other? Is Zeus (father of the gods) the ultimate PUA?
In this club, we'll look at a few of the most important romantic relationships in Greek mythology and we'll take them apart psychologically together. Are they really that much different from us? We'll talk about things like love and how it starts, develops and lasts or doesn't last. We'll talk about fidelity, manipulation, balance, and retribution. We'll look at some of the most toxic yet highly entertaining relationships ever committed to paper and we'll have fantastic discussions!
